About The Tour

Each tour lasts approximately 4 hours and start at 3pm. We visit three local breweries and multiple current and historic baseball sites. The tour begins at the Beer Research Institute, 1641 S Stapley Dr, Mesa, AZ 85204.

Local baseball announcing legend Tim Sheridan is your guide, along with a driver in a comfortable van. As with all our tours, each group is limited in size to make for a more personal experience. The Brewery & Baseball Tour is limited to 5 patrons. (Give us a call about larger private groups)

The cost is $125 per person (with discounts for multiple people together). On this one-of-a-kind tour, you'll receive a complimentary *beer at each brewery. A special logo beer cozy to take home, shared appetizers at the brewery, complimentary, popcorn, and bottled water. And an autographed limited-edition Tim Sheridan Forty year anniversary baseball card.

*For those who don't enjoy beer, other beverages are available, such as seltzers and ciders, along with non-alcoholic drinks.

About Your Guide

Tim Sheridan is celebrated as a Chicago Cubs and Cactus League legend due to his enduring contributions as the Cubs' spring training public address announcer since 1984. His journey began during a college spring break when he volunteered at the Cubs' spring training in Mesa, Arizona, a role he has embraced for over four decades.

Beyond his announcing duties, Sheridan has been active in preserving and promoting the history of baseball in Arizona. He was instrumental in founding the Arizona Spring Training Experience and Cactus League Hall of Fame, later serving as its Board Chair and Executive Director. This institution began as a modest one-room exhibit and has grown significantly, showcasing the rich heritage of the Cactus League.

Sheridan's dedication to the Cubs and the Cactus League has solidified his status as a beloved figure among fans and within the baseball community.

A longtime beer enthusiast, Tim enjoys a wide variety of beer, with some of his favorites being Ale, Porter and Stout.  He's also a fan of lighter styles like Pilsner, Kolsh, and Lager, but he won't turn down a nice hazy IPA. It's probably obvious, Tim enjoys good beer and breweries! Throw in some baseball talk and he's in heaven!
